The picture was great. I ended up filling in a little more detail on my own but that is just the artist in me coming out. The only thing I would say needed changing was the "flesh tone" paint was a lot darker than the picture was but otherwise I loved it!

I painted this photo for my dad this Christmas. Although it took a long time, I enjoyed it a lot. I was weary about how it would look in the end and was worried that I would not have enough paint. However, I did not run out of paint and my dad's reaction made it all worth it. I will definitely look forward to doing this again. I recommend this as a gift.

This came out great! I was worried the faces would be too dark, hot they’re perfect in the end. My only issue is the bottom right corner. It is supposed to be a hay bail but just looks like a weird jumble of colors. I did choose a really difficult photo with a lot of details and colors, so that is likely my fault. I also wish it came with more pins to attach the canvas to the frame. Thankfully I had more laying around but otherwise it would not have stayed on.

The painting turned out really nice even though we made the mistake of using a picture with a lot of foliage and shadowed faces. The only issue we had was that some colors took 3 applications to cover the number and it was tough to go back and do the additional coats because when some of the colors were wet they looked like another color that was dry. Still partly our fault because the picture had so many small spots due to the foliage in the picture.

I would recommend this website for a custom painting, I tried others and the canvas was missing numbers or was impossible to read. This one was very clear and numbers are in a thin print that makes it easier to paint over. Also brushes are better here.

It was super easy to do, surprisingly. Turned out so close to my original photo. I did however run out of paint on the larger sections of same colors. Then I had to go back through and touch up some others since I didn’t put on thick enough the canvas shown through. So don’t throw away the sample sheet with numbers when you get!(I didn’t know what that was for but figured out real fast. Came in handy.)

Got a picture of me and my girlfriend, took me (a relatively new painter) about 2 weeks to paint it (big painting and complex background). Girlfriend loved it! Painting turned out fantastic! Everyone I showed it to said that it look like a picture! Fantastic gift idea for a significant other. Also I chose a slightly difficult background (complex, lots of colors, etc.), and the only main problem with that was that it took longer to paint than what I'd assume an easier background would've taken. All around a fantastic gift idea!

I used a photo of my parents in Iceland for this painting. It took a lot of time and hard work for me to do this painting but it was also a great way for my mind to relax at night after a long day of actual work. I gave it to them for their anniversary and they really loved it. I'm going to order a few more kits because I think my grandparents are jealous!
